Lynn Ferry Nelson

Director, Regulatory Services

Lynn Ferry-Nelson is SWEPCO's Director of Regulatory Services. She is responsible for regulatory matters in Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas, including the preparation, filing and litigation of regulatory cases.

Ferry-Nelson served as SWEPCO's Manager of External Affairs in Longview, Texas, from July 2016 to August 2017. Previously she was senior manager, performance management and project support, for Southern California Edison Company since 2009. 

Ferry-Nelson has more than 14 years of utility regulatory and commission experience, and has worked for the Oklahoma Corporation Commission, American Electric Power, Cleco Power LLC, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, as well as Transmission and Distribution regulatory operations at Southern California Edison.

A native of Huntington Beach, Calif., Ferry-Nelson earned a bachelor of business administration degree in finance with honors from New Mexico State University. She has a Project Manager Certification from the University of California at Irvine.

She served on the Longview Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, the Chamber's Education Foundation Board, and Partners in Prevention Board of Directors.
