How to Clean Your Air Fryer

August 18, 2020

We love singing the praise of the Air Fryer in our kitchens. The Air Fryer is easy to use, it is also safe (no open flame) and energy-efficient. Since they don't emit much heat, the energy they do use is efficiently focused on cooking, not heating the room, which is perfect for hot summer days. However, one of the biggest questions I am asked, 'Is the Air Fryer hard to clean?'

The simple answer... No!

In our latest video, we discuss pantry-friendly items that make our Air Fryer look like new!

What are pantry-friendly items used in cleaning our Air Fryer?

Baking soda. Mix baking soda and water to form a paste. Use an old toothbrush to thoroughly scrub the interior of the air fryer focusing on the buildup. Wash the basket with soap and water. Wipe dry.

Apple Cider Vinegar. Add 1 cup of apple cider vinegar into your air fryer basket and allow it to sit for 15 minutes. Add dish soap and wash with a sponge or toothbrush. Rinse and wipe dry.

Vinegar. Combine 1 cup water and 1 cup vinegar. Pour in Air Fryer basket and allow to sit for 15 minutes. Use an old toothbrush to thoroughly scrub the interior of the air fryer focusing on the buildup. Wash the basket with soap and water. Wipe dry.
